Sponsor trees to build greener communities.
Individual trees have huge community benefits, but the magic really starts when places like churches, homeowners associations, and schools are able to plant 25, 50, or even hundreds of trees. Here at Root Nashville, we call this community reforestation. Community reforestation sites restore wildlife habitat, filter stormwater, reduce flood risk, and cool nearby air temperatures.
But some communities don’t have the resources to water new trees and maintain them with pruning and mulch. We don’t want these challenges to stop important community spaces from receiving trees.
When you sponsor a tree, you help nature take root and support community reforestation across Nashville.
Tree Sponsorship
Tree sponsorship covers weekly watering from May 1 – Sept 30 and annual pruning, mulching, and care by the Compact’s field team. With this dedicated care, our trees have a survival rate of more than 90%.
$90: Sponsor one tree
$270: Sponsor 3 trees for a community member in need
$2500: Sponsor a community reforestation site of 25 trees
$5000: Sponsor up to 55 trees at a school, church, or community space
$10,000: Sponsor a large-scale site such as a stream restoration or depave site to care for more than 100 trees
For Businesses
Sponsorships $2500 and up come with benefits for businesses, such as custom volunteer events and recognition via web, email, or social media.
