Mapping the Campaign’s Progress
The Root Nashville campaign goal is to plant 500,000 trees in Davidson County by 2050– and in order to achieve that, we need a way to track our progress.
This map shows where trees have been planted as part of the campaign and what species they are, helping Root Nashville partners decide which areas and species to prioritize next. All Root Nashville trees are automatically added to the map by Cumberland River Compact and Metro Water Services; if you’ve received a free tree from us, you can find it below!
Add Your Own Tree
All trees planted in Davidson County can be counted toward the campaign goal—not just trees provided by Root Nashville! The only requirement is that trees have to be 1” in trunk diameter before they can be added to the map.
To add any other trees you’ve voluntarily planted to the progress map (those not provided by Root Nashville) that are 1” in diameter or larger, please complete the Tree Registration form on the Tree Tracker. If you have more than 10 trees, please email hello@rootnashville.org with the subject line “Count My Tree” and our team will send you a short form to complete.
Please note that if you received free trees from Root Nashville for your yard or as part of a community reforestation project, they have already been added.
